Lacote Style

My Lacote-style guitars hold a special place in my work. There’s something magical about the clarity, intimacy, and responsiveness of a fine 19th-century guitar, and I’ve spent years studying how René Lacote achieved that unmistakable elegance.

My goal isn’t to copy these historic instruments—it’s to build Romantic guitars that honor their lineage while offering the reliability, structural integrity and of course, the nuanced sound palette today’s players expect. Most of these guitars begin as commissions, shaped through conversations about tone, feel, and aesthetics. On occasion, I’ll build an on-spec instrument simply because the wood on my bench inspires me; when I do, you’ll find them listed under Lacote Style in Romantic Guitars in the Guitars For Sale section. If the sound and character of a Romantic guitar speaks to you, I’d be glad to talk about building one specifically for you

Designer Notes:

-This links to the Product category Lacote Style Guitars under Gutars for sale
-This section is just a Pic Left/Content Right section
-Let’s talk about the background colors on the product boxes. I didn’t like the treatment of – them on the original layout your team put together.
-There should be provions to have as many as four product boxes and at least provisions for two row. At this point there should be only two product boxes.

Create at the same layout for Staufer but hid it for now
